The Spring Break games were tough to manage with a total of 14 girls out for one or both games.  The girls were beat up by the end of the week, most having to play 6 quarters on both game days.  Fairfield was aggressive and physical. East was physical and it was 80 degrees.

This week, we head to Oak Hills on Tuesday and to Centerville on Thursday, then we’ll have three home games the week of April 6th.

3/31 @ Oak Hills won 25-3 5-0 3-0

The Comets Girls LAX team defeated Oak Hills Tuesday night 25-3 with nine different goal scorers to move to 5-0 on the season.  Kirsten Hurr had 6G, 7 draw controls, 3 ground balls, and 3 caused turnovers; Maggie Schumm had 4G; Emily Nurre had 2G/3A; Katie Halligan had 2G/4A; Evelyn Bahm had 3G/1A; Elle Riva had 2G/2A; Megan Bangs had 2G/1A; and Addie Lupinski and Gabby Sell had 2G each.

Mason controlled possession with a huge advantage at the draw circle and limited turnovers, and our defense played great.
